information, file downloads and other stuff. Use the menu on
the right to access the material. Some of the material is only
available on the University network, due to copyright issues
and secrecy. Research publications, conference presentations
and other appearances are listed further down on this page.
A curiosity about this page: everything is specified in metric
coordinates. The header is inline SVG specified in metric
units, so if your operating system is correctly configured and
calibrated the short lines should be repeated at each
millimetre and the slightly longer lines at each
centimetre. The font sizes and element sizes are all specified
in metric units so everything should look the same
regardless of screen size and resolution.
I sometimes identify myself with some of the characters that
appear in Calvin and Hobbes, a comic strip by Bill
